Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy covers the Android apps published by Jammy Studios — Guess the Word, Brain Quiz Trivia and Imposter Unknown — and this website.
What we collect
We never ask you for a name, an email address or a password, and there is no account to create. Your scores, settings and progress are kept on your own device, and a game is fully playable without anything leaving it.
The apps use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. These report anonymous usage events (which screens are opened, when a round starts and ends) and crash reports containing device model, OS version and a stack trace. They are used to find bugs and to see which parts of a game get played. The advertising identifier is explicitly disabled.
Global leaderboards
Some of our apps offer a global leaderboard. Where one is offered, the app signs in anonymously in the background the first time you play. That anonymous account has no email address, no password and no profile — it exists only so that scores posted from your device can be recognised as coming from the same player.
When a round ends, we send and store on our servers: the score, a few figures describing how the round went, which board it belongs to, and an identifier for that anonymous account. We also store a display name, which our service invents when it creates the account. That generated name is what appears beside your score on a board; there is nothing for you to type, and nothing you type is published.
We do not collect or store your name, email address, contacts, location or advertising identifier, and leaderboard data is never sold or used for advertising.
The anonymous account belongs to the app on that device. If you clear the app's data or uninstall it, your device loses access to it and a new account is created the next time you play. Scores already posted stay on the board under their generated name, with no way to link them back to you.
To have a leaderboard account and the scores posted from it deleted, email [email protected] from the device in question and we will remove them.
Network use
The games are playable offline, and their content ships inside the app. An app may contact us to check for new or updated content when it launches, and, where a global leaderboard is offered, to sign in anonymously and post scores as described above. Nothing else about you is sent.
Purchases
Where in-app purchases are offered, they are handled by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
Children
The apps are suitable for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
Uninstalling an app removes everything it stored on your device. To ask a question about this policy or request deletion of anything associated with you, email [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
